In 1982, the company copyrighted its logo for a game called Atari Safari. In the mid 1980's, Atari had a large booth at the consumer electronics show at Moscone Center in San Francisco. They were handing out styrofoam pith helmets with the Atari Safari logo stuck onto the front of the hat.
